6 Days Tour Atlas and desert Morocco

If you like mountain with us you can enjoy a tour of the interior of the High Atlas, that takes us from the waterfalls of Ouzoud to the Lakes of Imilchil, down to the desert, to return to Marrakech, following the route of the kasbahs…..A wonderful journey.

Day 1: Marrakech – Waterfalls d ’ Ouzoud – Zahouia Ahensal.

Depart from Marrakech in direction the High Atlas to the wonderful waterfalls of Ouzoud, wonderful place to visit with its impressive natural waterfalls and where we can have lunch. From there, in the afternoon we will go to the fantastic village of Zahouia Ahensal ,visiting Berber constructions of the mountains. We stay in a Hotel with breakfast and dinner .

Day 2: Zahouia Ahensal- Lakes of Imilchil- Imilchil:

We will have breakfast and will go towards to the Lakes of Imilchil, two wonderful and incredible Lakes amid towering mountains…We will arrive at Imilchil, beautiful people to more than 1800 meters high where we stay with breakfast and dinner at Hotel.

Day 3: Imilchil – Amellago gorges – Merzouga:

After breakfast we will go to the Gorges of Amellago, with a fantastic and worthy of photographing mountainous landscape. We will make stops to take pictures and have lunch. We will arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon. Where can enjoy the dunes of Erg Chebbi , Changing coaches for camels to admire the sunset and spend the night in the heart of the dunes. Dinner and overnight bivouac in Berber tents.

Day 4: Merzouga- Khamlia – Desert Ouzina:

 We will rise and will return with the camels to the Hotel . Then we will go to visit the village of Khamlia (Berber population of black ethnic group from Mali ). We stop to learn about their culture through their music and dances GNAOUA. We will continue along the famous Paris Dakar until you reach the village of Ouzina , where you will find the hostel, It will provide you a quiet and relaxing stay for a well-deserved rest in the desert . Dinner and accommodation , Hostel Sahara Porte

Day 5: Ouzina – Taouz – Rissani – Erfoud – Dades gorges:

After breakfast we will continue our path to Boulmane Dadès (Dades gorges). We will arrive to Rissani, capital of the Tafilalet region, where we will walk by the animal market as well as its Souk. Continue through the Valley of Ziz until you reach Erfoud, to visit the fossil quarry and see how they transform them into true works of art, tables, washbasins and other parts worthy of your attention. We continue with the journey to the Dades gorges where we spend the night. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: DADES – Ouarzazate – Aït Haddoud , World Heritage site – Marrakech:

After our breakfast in the Hotel we will go towards Ouarzazate, town with many places to visit ,among them the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddoud, heritage of humanity by Unesco. Later in the afternoon we will go to Marrakech and end of the route.
