7 Days Tour From Ouarzazate to the desert Ouzina And Merzouga Morocco

Day 1 Ouarzazate

Collected by our guide at the airport, who will accompany us throughout the trip. Depending on the time of arrival, You can visit the city of OUARZAZATE, capital of the South, door of the Pre-Sahara Gran, where sweetly prepares the traveller, to experience the extreme feeling of desert. Dinner and accommodation in Riad.

Day 2 Ouarzazate – Ouzina

After breakfast we will leave address to Ouzina, going through the Draa Valley and the oasis of the same name. We will stop at the viewpoint in AGDZ to photograph a beautiful panoramic view and enjoy the intense green of the lush vegetation mixing with the sky blue. We will continue towards Zagora, where will take a break, to walk around and introduce us to the lush Palm Grove ( the largest in Morocco) as well as the richest in the production of dates. We will then take the track of the famous Paris-Dakar, through the arid and at the same time interesting desert landscapes, where we will discover small Berber villages with their traditional adobe buildings, up to Ouzina, where is the  PORTE DE SAHARA  hostel, a haven of peace and tranquility for a well deserved rest. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 Ouzina – Ouzina

After breakfast, We will be walking to visit the village of Ouzina, that is in 2 km , and its association, where you can buy products typical of the nomads, and take a magnificent you Berber. Lunch will be served a delicious Berber pizza in our guide Hassan House, where will enjoy the hospitality of his family. If we want we can tattoo in henna Berber motifs…a real wonder. Back to the hostel at night , Dinner and accommodation in hostel .

Day 4 Ouzina – Jdaid – Ramlia – ERG Ouzina

We will rise and breakfast quietly. Then, We will go to the village of JDAID where is located the ASOCIACIÓN IGHARMAN composed by women, you gather regularly to weave beautiful carpets with motifs and Berber drawings. We will go to the mountains where there is a mine from which they extract a mineral called “VARITINA” and used for the manufacture of car glasses. We will continue towards the Oasis of BOURIKA, considered the largest desert, with the largest settlement of Nomadas.compartiremos with them a part of your home (haima) experiences about his life and customs, While they offer us a mint tea, as a sign of hospitality. We say goodbye for them to continue the course of the “Oued” (dry river of stones and sand) until you reach the ruins of an ancient Portuguese settlement, and from there we will go to Ramlia where we stop for lunch. After a well deserved break and the way towards Erg Ouzina can contemplate the mountain with figure of a “Tajine”. Arrival at the PORTE DE SAHARA hostel, dinner accompanied with Berber music and accommodation.

Day 5 Ouzina – Merzouga

After breakfast, We will go in the direction to Merzouga, the track of the Paris-Dakar, where we stop in a few caves, to continue again toward KHAMLIA, (Black ethnic Berber population from Mali) where show us their culture through their dance and GNAOUA music. We will turn around the dunes of ERG CHEBBI, through nomadic villages, to reach the hotel , where we leave the car and we will raise camels, to get into the dunes and spend the night in the desert under a Tent. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 Merzouga – Gorges of Toldrà

We will get up early to contenplar the magnificent sunrise in the dunes. And again with the camel Hotel . We will leave the camels and we climb to cars to go to the city of TINERGHIR (TODRA GORGE), stopping in Rissani, capital of the Tafilalet region, considered as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, where will visit its Souk and known cattle market. Continue through the Valley of Ziz until you reach Erfoud, City of desert surrounded by Palm trees and famous for its delicious dates. We stop to visit an old quarry fossils. We will see how they work and transform the material into true works of art, as tables, washbasins, furnishing, etc….We arrive at Tinerghir, We will take a break to photograph one of the most beautiful Oasis in the country, where its natural landscape always strikes the traveller. We will then continue to the Gorges of the Toldrà. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

Day 7 Gorges of Toldrà – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, We will go to the impressive gorges of the Toldrà, landscape of unique beauty where a series of green oasis, they are fed by the river that gives it its name. As we approach, the Valley narrows. The River Toldrà, He has formed a Gorge, giving way to a stunning vertical walls of great height, (300 meters) . It is a paradise for climbers. We will continue the journey through the Valley of the Roses, highly known for this flower collection, and the elaboration of cosmetic products, soaps, scented oils, facial and body creams, etc…. We will arrive at Ouarzazate, We will visit the film studios, where have been shot as well known as Cleopatra movies, Gladiator, etc…. etcthe afternoon we will go to the famous kasbah of AÏT-BEN-HADDOU (World Heritage site) and one of the best preserved, where the charm and the magic of the place we transport you to faraway times. Return to Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation in Riyad .
